Joey Edge is an accomplished entrepreneur, biotechnology executive, and visionary business strategist with more than 35 years of experience founding, building, and leading successful companies across biotechnology, regenerative medicine, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, and technology. In 1991, Joey founded Edge Real Estate, establishing the foundation for what would become a diversified portfolio of successful businesses spanning more than three decades. Under his leadership, Edge Holdings expanded through multiple entrepreneurial ventures, including internet technology companies, commercial development projects, and the development, ownership, and operation of a premier golf and spa resort. His entrepreneurial success has been defined by strategic vision, disciplined execution, and the ability to recognize and capitalize on emerging market opportunities across multiple industries.

In 2013, Joey founded Genesis Global, pioneering innovative healthcare solutions centered on advanced peptide biochemistry and emerging medical technologies. Building upon that vision, he subsequently founded Vitalgenics, where he has served as Chief Executive Officer for the past nine years.

As CEO of Vitalgenics, Joey assembled and led a multidisciplinary scientific team that included researchers and physicians from MD Anderson and the University of Louisville. Under his leadership, the company successfully developed Excindogen, a novel therapeutic compound for the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Joey directed every aspect of the program’s development, including scientific strategy, intellectual property, regulatory planning, financing initiatives, strategic partnerships, and commercialization planning.

The Excindogen program successfully completed all required preclinical development milestones, received FDA Orphan Drug Designation for pancreatic cancer, and advanced to the Investigational New Drug (IND) application stage, positioning the therapy to enter first-in-human clinical trials upon completion of financing. This achievement reflects Joey’s ability to lead complex biotechnology initiatives from concept through regulatory advancement while collaborating with world-class scientific and clinical teams.

Recognizing the transformative potential of regenerative medicine years before it entered the mainstream, Joey became an early advocate for stem cell, exosome, peptide, and cellular therapies. When evolving regulatory changes temporarily slowed commercialization within the regenerative medicine industry, he viewed the disruption not as a setback but as an opportunity to rethink the future of healthcare itself. Rather than simply developing biologic products, Joey began designing an entirely new physician-centered healthcare delivery model focused on prevention, cellular optimization, longevity, and personalized medicine.

SCOTT FAULKNER, MD

Dr. Scott Faulkner is a board-certified internal medicine physician, regenerative medicine pioneer, and healthcare innovator with more than three decades of clinical experience spanning internal medicine, concierge healthcare, hospital medicine, sleep medicine, and advanced regenerative therapeutics. Throughout his distinguished career, he has remained committed to delivering highly personalized, patient-centered care while continually seeking innovative approaches that address the underlying causes of disease rather than simply managing symptoms. A Colorado native, Dr. Faulkner completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Berkshire Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Massachusetts. In 1999, he achieved Board Certification in Internal Medicine and was appointed Chief of Internal Medicine at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, where he provided comprehensive medical care while leading one of the military’s internal medicine departments. This early leadership role established a foundation of clinical excellence, operational leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration that would define his medical career. Returning to Colorado in 2001, Dr. Faulkner established a highly successful internal medicine practice in Fort Morgan while simultaneously founding a specialized Sleep Disorder Center that ultimately expanded to multiple locations throughout Colorado, including Greeley and Colorado Springs. Through this expansion, he developed extensive expertise in practice development, physician leadership, and comprehensive patient management while earning a reputation for providing exceptional clinical care. Following the successful sale of his medical practice, Dr. Faulkner served for seven years as a hospitalist with Rural Physicians Group, providing acute inpatient medical care across numerous hospitals throughout Colorado. This experience further broadened his expertise in managing complex medical conditions while reinforcing the importance of continuity of care, chronic disease management, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches. In 2017, Dr. Faulkner founded VIP Healthcare, a concierge medical practice in Castle Rock, Colorado, where he returned to a personalized model of medicine centered on extended physician-patient relationships, comprehensive preventive care, and individualized treatment strategies. The concierge model allowed him to spend significantly more time with each patient, focusing not only on treating disease but also on optimizing long-term health, wellness, and quality of life.
